Boarding School

At Green Vallley students of our fully residential co-educational school reside in 26 boarding houses (8 for girls and 18 for boys) equipped with television and music systems and indoor games facilities like carrom and chess. The school maintains a happy and healthy environment in the boarding houses by creating a balance between academic discipline and relaxation.
Green Valley offers an on-campus residential facility throughout the academic year, with regular boarding in Shiruru, for students in Grade 3 to Grade 12. Regular boarders live on campus through the academic year.
The boarding houses are regularly fumigated, and kept clean and tidy at all times. The toilets are provided with the best of sanitary ware, and all measures are taken to maintain the best standards of health and hygiene.
There is a lounge for the girls and also one for the boys, equipped with recreational facilities such as TV, Table tennis tables. The GVIS Boarding has its own air-conditioned, spacious multi-purpose hall, which is also used as the study hall.
Hygienic Food
A common cafeteria, equipped with a stainless steel, open plan kitchen, serves a menu of eastern, western and vegetarian cuisines to the boarders. All the campus facilities are available to the boarders and they are encouraged to make full use of them.
Most of our spices, sauces, and gravies are prepared in-house. We also regularly conduct food festivals, outdoor cookouts and barbecues on various occasions.
dinner is served in the dining hall, always freshly prepared nutritious meals with both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, with a varied menu to cater to international and Indian boarding residents.
Room Structure
The rooms are sunny, spacious, comfortable, and are allocated on a shared basis (two to three per room) to encourage socialization, and emotional well-being. Each residential facility also houses a TV room and a common study area.
Quality furnishings have been provided for all rooms and include beds, wardrobes, desks, bookshelves and bedside units.

Medical Facility
The school has a clinic with a resident nurses to ensure that students are taken care of when sick.
The school is equipped to provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff, and also has a tie-up with the best medical specialists for consultation and treatment when required.

Boys and girls are housed in two separate buildings. Non-boarders and parents are permitted to enter only if accompanied by the dorm parent. Additionally, to ensure maximum safety and security, boys are not permitted to enter the girls’ hostels and vice versa.
For virtual surveillance of the campus, a CCTV system is in place to monitor activities, keep records and collect evidence in case of any unwarranted events.
