Swimming
Swimming is not only a sport, but it’s also a life-saving skill and regular practice keeps you fit and healthy. Objective to assess the learners are the correct technique and skill involved.
Indoor Games
There is a indoor sports complexe at the school, and games are encouraged at all times, as physical training should not be limited to the best and suitable weather conditions. Our indoor sports comprises of Table Tennis Tables, Skating, Chess, Carrom and special Gym for both boy's and girl's who are health conscious.
Athletics
The school has an athletic ground with an eight-lane 400m track. The facilities include a training ground for jumps,shot put, discus throw and so on.
IAYP
The International Award for Young People (IAYP), This award programme originated in the United Kingdom in 1956 as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (DEAS). The aim was to help young people bridge the gap between adolescence and adulthood, smoothly introduce in 1962, today it is called the International Award for Ypung People (IAYP)
It aims to encourage young people to achive their full growth potential with in the frame work of Indian Society, and improve their moral, social and intellectual well being. The program also inculcates and encourages 'leadership' qualities.The objective was also to motivate young people aged 14 to 25 years, and involve them in a balanced program of voluntary, self-development activities and take them through potentialy difficult periods between adolescence and adulthood.
There are three levels of the award, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Participants each undertake all theire categories of the award or enter directly of any of the three levels in the following age groups. Bronze Award(for those over 14 years), Silver Award(for those over 15 years) and Gold Award(for those oer 16 years). The minimum period of participation is 6 months for Bronze, 12 months for Silver and 18 months for Gold.
For each of these levels a participant required to undertake activities under each of the four sections. At the Gold level participants undertake an additional residential project.The basic structure of the Award consists of 4 mandatory sections. Service, Adventurous Journey, Skills, and Physcical Recreation. Participants must complete all the four mandatory sections to receive an award.
